My husband wasnt pleased taking my name off. What if something does happen?! Can never be too sure so sticking to joint mortgage

One other question, if i go to a branch and do a full application is their a chanve we would be able to borrow more than what came up on the site?

I have twin 1 year olds and hoping to rrturn to work. If I had a job lined up and an official offer letter would thia be sufficoent to get my income included on the mortgage?

If not we may have to wait a few months till i have a few payslips to get the amount we need.

    Many thanks for responding

Not normally, no. Unless you've incorrectly input the data in the affordability calculator, then it may be less, not more.

If it is imminent and you have a confirmed start date which an employer can verify, some lenders will accept this and take your income into account. Many don't.

You can trawl up and down the High Street, having speculative credit searches, or you could simply find a good independent or whole market broker in your area who would know which lenders to approach and which to avoid.
