  • Hi Ladies! And Gents if your following this thread!

Ive just been to my nearest Tesco Extra in Milton-keynes and purchased 12 Pampers packs consisting of Baby drys and Active fit from 3+ to 4 for £3.24 each

    So basically I was charged 12 x £3.24 ( £38.88)

The baby event offer is 3 for 2 on pampers on packs of 24 nappies or more so I went to customer services to get the price of 4 back. Thr lady gave back £12.94 - brilliant! Then I remembered the Tesco promise - if they overcharge they give you double the difference!! So I mentioned this to the lady and got a further refund of £12.96 .

In total 12 packs of nappies for £12.96 - Thats made my day :rotfl:

I went to the same Tesco Extra in Milton Keynes on Thursday and bought 6 packs of 52 Baby Dry for £4.99 each but it didn't take the 3 for 2 off. So I went to customer services and they refused to do anything as they said the offer wasn't valid on sale items. I argued my point endlessly but they would not budge so I went back and took photos of the posters promoting 3 for 2 and will now have to email customer services and hope they will sort it out. Grrrr. So well done to you for managing to get the refund there and then - great bargain!

I need to stock up for my 13 month old grandson arriving from overseas for a holiday next week. I never know whether to buy Active fit or Baby dry! Is there any real difference can you tell me please? Thanks :).

I like Active Fit for my toddler, but I really don't there is a huge amount of difference between them in all honesty.

My little princess is too old for nappies now but when she did use them I preferred the active fit as they are narrower between the legs, she had a few wee rolls of fat at the top of her thighs so the active fit fit better

It was the one in Kingston - is that the same one you went to? Sorry, I just assumed it was! They didn't seem to have many in stock though as I got the only ones that were out and they said they didn't have any more in the back.
