How are you going to be fit for a new job and college if you are off sick now? Just out of interest. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I thought that fit notes were only issued for 2 weeks at a time. Anyway, if you are going to hand in your notice whilst off sick, then you will get SSP for the notice period if you have exceeded the occupational sick pay.0

But I read it that the OP has been off for 6 weeks, and now has a Fit Note for two weeks which will take her up to 8 weeks.Anyway, if you are going to hand in your notice whilst off sick, then you will get SSP for the notice period if you have exceeded the occupational sick pay.
OP, you wouldn't have to pay back any of your salary.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
