Hi guys i new here but hope that wont put people off helping as i don't know what else to do, Due to my dad getting ill last feb i gave up my job to look after him and take him to the hospital untill he was well to do stuff himself again but then in nov he got ill again and i've totaly had to give up my socail life, i borrowed 8k 5k from barcleys and 3k from my dad, I them borrowed 2k from my friend and that was 2 years ago i stll owe my dad the whole 3k and my friend the 2k and 2500 to the bank and also owe 3 credit cards 2500 etween them, but now my friend needs it back and my mum has to have at lest 400 a month for us for the rent and other stuff, I only get carers allowance now and can't even do a part time job. I've been looking into BR but where i live with my mum and dad still and share a bedroom with my brother i don't want to do anthing because i don't want them to take any of the stuff thats not mine, Everything that was mine i've sold to pay off the bills but i can't handle them all anymore. Is there anyone can help on what they can take and what they can't, He doesnt have recipt for anything so they would take everything.

They don't take items essential for living, they are only interested in high value items, non essential luxuries.

You need to speak to CAB or CCCS or National debtline for some proper professional advice on your options. They are excellent, and non judegmental. They will look at your incomings and outgoings and helo you reach the right decision for you.

    Good luck!
