Mortgage/underwriter

Hi just looking for some reassurance really

the person who is/was buying my house did was ready to move into our house then at the last moment with checks turns out the road was unadopted when the search came back as adopted "council estate maintained by them" so the buyer was ready to exchange.

atm its gone back to the underwriter for the road to be changed from adopted to unadopted........the lender is Lloyds how long should it take for them to get the paper work back and should i be worried about this? its been just over a week since this happend all there side say is were waiting to hear back

Regards

Dave
