Can i call Countrywide directly?

Just called Nationwide for an update, they requested the valuation but havent heard back and wont do until after the valuation has taken place.

I would like to know (for my piece of mind) when the valuation is happening.

Am i ok to contact Countrywide myself for updates?

On a basic survey instruction, not usually no - given that they are working on behalf of the lender, and don't usually accept 3rd party phone calls.

Right then, under a HB, as you are the client of the surveyor, yes you can call for a timeline on this.

Thats great thanks, do they have a national call centre of local offices?

Speak to Nwide, found out who has been instructed and their office number (admin should be able to advise when/if its been booked yet) - have you contacted the EA /Vendor to see if the surveyor has made contact yet ?

I am on hold to Countrywide, she is passing me into the "Nationwide team" if i dont get anywhere i will give Nationwide a try.

I suppose i could contact the EA to find out.
