To find a last minute dress please!
Here's the scenario, we are flying out to Italy on 17th for our annual holiday and getting married when we're out there. OH just told me on Friday night that he has organised a Celtic blessing for when we get home so that we can involve various members of the family.
Now, our wedding day itself is on the first day of a competition that we take part in every year and I had planned to put my dress back on afterwards, BUT, that night can get quite messy and I don't want to ruin the dress as I'm going to need it for the blessing at home.
I'm now looking for something to wear on the evening of the wedding (I don't just want to stick shorts or jeans on) and as we have something planned, hopefully getting a helicopter ride if the weather is good, I'd still like to look quite 'bride-y'.
I live in the north of Scotland and have a full week of work ahead with appointments on Friday afternoon and most of the day on Saturday so it would have to be something available online as I can't get away anywhere before we go on Monday. I'd be willing to spend up to about £60 on it.
Can anyone help?!

I personally love Zara, so had a look on there for dresses up to £60.00. I found these - not sure if they're what you're after:

Hope you find something soon, and that you have a fab wedding, holiday and blessing:j Married my lovely man on 29th June 2013 :j0 -
Thank you
Zara unfortunately doesn't really suit me, just been looking at the Amy Childs range in Next and some folk saying they're actually using some of the dresses as wedding dresses.....I'm stuck! Bhs Have some that may be worth looking at. Not too expensive and easy to order online or you have a wedding store near you.

Thanks Swampy. They're all pretty nice but unfortunately I'm not a satin person and the only two in stock in my size are satin!
I ordered a couple of the Next dresses last night and they were delivered today (so much for them not being able to to next day delivery to my postcode, fab service!) so I'm off to try them on, and probably take them back tomorrow! Still, gives me a bit of breathing space, might end up having to 'bling up those shorts'! HahaNo longer ...tobe! Hope those Next dresses work out for you
If not, what about a long white (or cream or blush etc) maxi dress? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Womens-Sleeveless-Spring-Stretch-OneSize/dp/B008EKJ1I0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1370896639&sr=8-2&keywords=white+maxi+dress or similar.
I also saw a £65 wedding dress on Debenhams in the sale, sizes 6 - 18 available. Its Satin but couldn't not link it just in case it appeals http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10701_10001_008010857285_-1GC2012: Nov £130.52/£125

Next dresses going back tomorrow! I didn't realise I was quite so fussy when it came to dresses! When I got my wedding dress it was the first and only dress I tried on, and then when I took it for alterations I knew exactly what I wanted done. Now I can't decide on anything for this one!No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000

Have you tried M&S wedding? There are some dresses in the bridesmaid section which could pass for a wedding dress. Do you want long or short? If you look for the ivory, white or champagne colours - find you might something here.

That's quite similar to one of the next ones I just tried. I'm thinking knee length or just above, strapless or sleeveless, and apart from that I don't know! Might have to go a random last minute trip on Sunday and ignore the kids football tournament, bad stepmom to be!No longer ...tobe!
