JSA payments

Hi all.

The payment for JSA goes in on a Monday, I sign on a Wednesday, it shows in the bank on a Saturday (usually).

Will they phone you if they don't send your payment out on time?

I just hand my jobsearch over at the front desk therefore i don't know whether they approve it or not, i was told they ring you if any problems.

Any ideas?

Do the JCP just put it in accounts on a Monday without sending it via the 3 days etc.

Usually if you don't get a payment you will know on the day you are supposed to get it. Someone has to approve the payment on the computer so if they forget then you wont get paid, at an appointment they usually look at your jobsearch then should approve it there and then. I assume if they had a problem they would call you but then again it just depends, sometimes the job centre can be absolutely useless.

All you can do really is just check the bank when its due to ensure you received it.
