last 2 months Ive missed my mortgage payments, phoned them both times before the date and let them know and they said its fine, you'll incur a £8 charge and to call and make payment when you have been paid (my mortgage money comes out 2 days before payday)
will this effect my rating in anyway?
Thanks

Would concern a potential lender obviously.0 -
If you are paying on, or before the due date, you will be fine. If paying late, you should order your credit files to see if these are being noted as late payments.
Mortgage lenders do not like late or missed mortgage payments at all.I am a mortgage broker. Your best bet would be to check your credit files to see if these are being noted as late payments, although you calling to tell them it will be late probably puts you in better stead than if the direct debit didn't go through without you informing them in advance.0
