I wasn't having a go, I was genuinely interested in how you got to that number.
Plucked it out of the air. And I wouldn't stand by it, as it is not central, just for illustration.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
  • Quick and FINAL update and a big THANK YOU to ALL who contributed here on MSE to my OH case which I represented.

The remedy hearing is over and we WON a remedy of a whooping £28,000 :T:T:T:T

It consisted of £12,000 for injury to feelings for race discrimination, £10,000 for victimisation, £3,500 for psychiatric injury and £2140 for Preparation Time Cost order (special thanks to Lazy Daisy for advising to apply as per Simms case -costs of 65 preparation hours awarded, following employer giving difficulties in agreeing the bundle and us having to prepare a separate one, late witness statements and respondent not agreeing on list of issues).

It is fantastic news for us and all the hard work and stress finally paid out. Looking forward to see the money in the bank.

Thank you again for all you help, guidance and patience. We wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for your advice.

All the best to all fighting their ET cases on discrimination - never give up, you can win even against the best lawyers self representing yourself. Just be strong prepared and believe in your case.
  • Well done, but it isnt so easy now one has to find hard earned cash to start a case.

    amazing! Well done.

what % of ur salary does this represent if you don't mind? Of course if you do don't worry.
Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked

It was my husband's case and the money comes up to 175% of his annual salary. There was no loss of earnings as he was still employed when all was happening. PS. and no witnesses on our side, just my OH.
  • Oh WOW! Well done you!!!!

And thanks for reporting back - it makes all the time spent here on MSE worth while!

I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.
