I agree LouLou. The is just there to remove the product and dead skin cells, also a bit of massaging of the skin is a plus. Sometimes I use microfibre cloths, sometimes just normal flannels as I don't want to overstimulate the skin.0

I have order my cleanser but haven't ordered any extra muslin yet. I will need something as i am just starting so will only have one cloth. Does anyone know which is the cheapest for me to use muslin or microfibre?0

I buy microfibre cloths either from Poundland or Tesco (Tesco Value, now called Tesco Everyday Value). The cloths tend to be huge so I cut them up, which makes them last even longer.
Whether they're waffle design or plain, I find they're all pretty much of a muchness. I've seen skincare sites that make out they carry the crème de la crème of microfibre cloths but they all seem the same to me!0 -

I think you were lucky - but well done anyway.
The vit E range was marked like that when I went in store but the label for the cleanser clearly said £4.99 whereas the other labels stated 2 for £4 on them (as well as the individual price)0 -
I got the cleanser yesterday
Initial impressions are it makes my skin feel nice but I do not like the muslin, feels like I am scrubbing my skin off  I think it may be because it is new so will put through the wash a few times to try to soften it up a bit and in the meantime get some microfibre ones.

My MSE tip is the oil cleansing method (castor oil and Poundland Rescue Oil, with a hot microfibre* cloth) which I do regularly and have done for years. Curious about this one, can't afford Liz Earle!!
How often do you do this? do you just put a few drops of the rescue oil in with the castor oil, rub in then wash off? I have both oils so it will be easy for me to give this a trythanks

thanks
It's a similar idea to this Hot Cloth Cleanser, as you also wash off the oil with a steaming hot cloth.
I do it once or twice a week, before I wash my hair, due to the oiliness. Every day seems too much for me as it makes me zitty.
http://www.crunchybetty.com/nitty-gritty-on-the-oil-cleansing-method (There's loads of OCM articles out there but this one is quite concise).
Some find OCM makes their acne worse, but I find it clears out my pores, I've never had much problem with it. For some it's more of a "skin gets worse before it gets better" thing. So, your mileage may vary.0
