Goldsmiths have a sale on right now and you can triple up clubcard vouchers towards any item, plus they accept Love2shop x

Only prob is that the Tesco rewards don't apply to sale items.

From personal experience, a good starting point in my opinion is the jewellery quarter in Birmingham. There are a few really nice shops there and you tend to get a much better price than you would on any high street.

I always drool over the diamond rings on display in Costco. They are supposed to be a good price though still too dear for me, unfortunately.

When I got engaged, a long time ago, in the mid 90s, we went to antique shops and such like and got a lovely diamond cluster ring which turned out to be a good deal when I had it valued. Some people can be a bit funny about second hand rings though but I am not, I like a bit of history.
