I've never been very happy with Holmes V1 but have resisted suggestions to download the beta.

Now that V2 has officially been released (escaped ?) I'm using that. But I'm still not terribly happy with it.

It does at least now show current usage, generation & nett on screen (V1 never would) - although generation is always a few hundred watts different from inverter's figures (except when Gen very low of course).

I have found out how to tell it my voltage is 241V *** rather than accepting their guess but I can’t see how to adjust sampling frequency (since transmitter & Wattson unit are both now mains powered I don’t have to conserve battery life and want fastest possible response).

There are a host of other little niggles that I can’t immediately remember (but keep bugging me as & when I notice them).

The ‘Help’ function is next to useless. I’m sure there will be some better help available from the Energeno website – but it would have been nice if they gave a link to it from the help button rather than me having to spend all day looking for it. They might have (but didn’t) included a manual in the download pack.

Is there a Holmes fan out there (perhaps a grouchy one ?) who’d like to earn a Brownie point by posting some helpful info ?

**** Actually it accepts an input of 241V but then changes it to 240V !
I don't suppose it's that big a deal.

further example
Inverter is saying I've generated 10.8kWh so far today. Holmes is only claiming 9.1. I believe inverter (it's only been 0.15% different from TGM).
Be nice if there was some way of telling Holmes to increase its Gen figures by 20% (and although putting in a different voltage might do that, it would need a wrong voltage to gain desired effect. Inverter indication is in line with my previous measurements of grid voltage.
