Please help me on buying outdoor security cameras.. please

Hi everyone! I’m planning on buying outdoor security cameras since the missus has been a bit paranoid about security lately. There have been a few burglaries in our neighborhood and my wife wants to avoid that as much as possible. We purchased an alarm system and she suggested we set up security cameras outdoors too. I’m not really well-versed with security cameras but I was thinking about getting this. Do you think this a good choice? How many of them should I get? I like this camera because it has night vision capabilities and it is weatherproof too. If you have other camera suggestions, I’d be happy to look into them. Thanks!

hi! I’ve been using Sony security cameras for years now and they’ve never failed me. You might do well with an IP camera since it allows remote monitoring and video recording. Try the SONY SNC-RX550N/B
