    Posts are sometimes brought to his attention (usually on areas of compliance, legal issues or something that is perhaps a volume issue). I have corresponded with him via the board in the past. However, it is highly unlikely he would just drop in on a thread from the tens of thousands posted in a week to answer a question he is not qualified to answer.

    Why not keep things simple and sell the house you own now with NO mortgage and buy a bigger property with a mortgage and the equity you will get when you sell your existing home.
    If you really want to become a Landlord you need to pay for the help and advice of a "Whole of market mortgage broker" who deals in BTL mortgages/loans and a good accountant.
