Is there any small-print on these "whatever happens" policies to prevent regular use ?
ie) My laptop is now 2 years old (again) - time for another accident ?
If not - what is to prevent misuse ?

Is there something about the whatever happens buyer that they dont look at T&Cs?

It's actually not that uncommon these days for people to take their gadgets into the bathroom. Usually to use while sitting on the bog. I wouldn't risk using them in the bath without some sort of water proof case but some do. My dad takes his iPad to use on the bog instead of magazines these days. How times have changed... I don't but anyway...
The cost of repairing or replacing a product which fails because anyone neglects, abuses or misuses the product.

They may try to wriggle out of paying out / replacing it based on the above item in their small print.

Personally, if unsure, I'd let it dry and say I spilt my glass of water over it....

I think the amount already paid justifies it for me but it's entirely up to you. If they deny a replacement due to the circumstances, then you've paid for the cover for nothing. I personally don't bother with such insurance...
