Try Parcel2Go
I use them loads and they really are far cheaper than RM by far x#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
The last 2 rises have seen some prices more than double each time.
Thats getting ready for privatisation for you.0 -
Dont get me started on RM. We live in the country and can go 3 days sometimes without any post. Also 60p for a stamp is a joke!0

Could be worse.
I work for them.

I paid £2.60 to post an item to my nephew, it weighed 75g :eek:A strong man stands up for himself, a stronger man stands up for others.0

My OH put 3 small padded envelopes, each containing an EBay sale of a bottle of nail polish into the pillar box with first class stamps on and the following day there was a 4th identical one to go. I was going to the Post Office so I took it with me and the counter assistant said I would have to pay extra because it wouldn't go through the slot they use to test the post. Out of the 4, mine was the only one that didn't arriveLuck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I posted a small skylanders figure put it in a very small shoe box, as I didn't want it crushed by Royal Mail parcel was really light it cost over £5.00, apparently they have a size guide now, and it was just a little to big.0

It's crazy. You could post a DVD size weight, for something like £2.50 or a massive box of feathers/air for over £5.00
It's put me off selling in eBay now! Something that would have cost £1.90 ish a few months ago now costs £50 -
It's crazy isn't it, I sold a few items last month got about £50 (including p+p) in paypal, took them the post office and the bill to send was over £30!!! What was the point!!! I agree with the OP, it really does put you off now they don't just go by weight0
