The bank said they have a signature to prove its been signed for but will not send me this. I asked for the tracking number to ring royal mail they said they didnt have one and when I spoke to royal mail they said the bank couldnt possibly have one without the other. Think someone has messed up somewhere and there trying to cover their backs. Does anyone know how long an appeal will take or am I asking how long a piece of string is. Unfortunately my local police officer could not help because its happened out of the countryI hope that my child, looking back on today

Yes, well I can tell you are not going to let that happen. The very best of luck and let us know how you get on, this is the sort of thing we all dread, I had some thieving toad in Shanghai take money from my bank account !!!!!!Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

I can't offer any help just my sympathy. My sister had a large fraud on her account a few years ago and although refunded (eventually) she never has had a satisfactory answer to her questions (she thinks it was an "inside job"). The worry of it all nearly made her ill.
I actually have 2 credit cards, one lives in my purse for shopping etc in the "real world" and a separate one is used for on-line orders only. I use the same shops and websites a lot so like to think this arrangement would make it easier to trace any frauds but who knows, might be kidding myself.
I never use any cards at petrol stations, always cash.
Hope you get it sorted (in your favour) very soon.

Did you get it back blackpool saver? Ive heard that paypal and amazon are having real problems with fraud at the moment but that may be because of the volume of transactions. The worst thing is I dont use this cardcas its a second card on our joint account and as its mainly used for dd transactions its stayed unusedI hope that my child, looking back on today
