EXPIRED Halfords glitch - Bike £140 to less than £100

Apollo Code hybrid mens bike has £10 off down to £129.99 BUT it also has some package deals and these add on an extra and then take off a discount. The system is taking off a discount much greater than the cost of the accessories added. In this case you can buy the deal of the bike and also a Halfords bike accessory pack (£19.99 - lights, bump, lock) and it discounts them both down to £107.99.

Then Halfords also have a web deal so if you spend £100, get £10 off, £200 then £20 off etc. So this reduces the bike to £97.99

There is also 3% through Quidco and you can collect in store for free.

I dont know if this is working on other bikes, but will check.

I'm confused,how is it a glitch,it says at the bottom of the page that when bought together the total is 107.99 then you get the tenner off,so that's correct,where does the glitch come into play?

The glitch is that you buy the accessory pack for £20 and it takes £42 off, so you get an extra £22 discount off the bike. This is only happening on these 2 bikes (that I have found). Thats your glitch.

I'm not gonna argue over the definition of glitch, but if I buy this bike and accessory pack:

It takes £5 off the combined price, so I would say the £42 discount on the original post is a misprice/glitch whatever you wish to call it.

I don't see how buying an accessory pack at £20 that then gives you the accessories for free and an extra £22 off the origional product can be seen as an offer, but if thats what you want to call it, especially when it only gives this discount on a couple of bikes, fine.

when i checkout with the acc pack it has a total of £129.99 so assumed the GLITCH has been fixed

It's still showing 97.99 for me.

Did you add the pack seperately or did you scroll down and click the offer on the bottom of the page?

This isnt glitching anymore, discount offered is now £11.99 not £41.99 so offer is £30 more.
