Hi,
In the process of setting up a new mortgage and still trying to decide 2 or 5 years.
Just wondered, if we went for a 2 year and once it is over fix it again for another 2 years with the same lender ( Santander in this case ) would we need to pay all the fees again ?
Not sure if we need to pay for the solicitors again ??
Thanks,

You will not have to pay all of the fees again. So no more stamp duty, lawyers fees and the like
You may have to pay a product fee to the lender. Have a look at the website of the lender you are looking at, and look at their 'your raete/scheme has expired' section or the rate list for existing customers
I've just fixed mine for 2 years with Halifax and there was no product fee but lenders do diffee. You'll probably find the better the product the higher the fee, but just do the sums and look at what works best in totalSo many glitches, so little time...0
