Why wouldn't you? You're happy to post information about other things. Investigations that I know of so far (including by an IFA seeking to place his own PR pension in drawdown) have not located any examples of firms offering drawdown for small PR funds on their own except Selestia.
Now's your chance to demonstate your superior knowledge DH.
Now come on Ed - play fair.
Dunstonh has provided a lot of information on this forum. Surely he's entitled to keep some snippets to himself? He is running a business after all, not a charity.
Pay up like the rest of us if you want the info and then you can post if for free if you want.0 -

Information from other "regulated" sources I have contacted and/or know personally, indicates that there are not in fact any providers offering drawdown for small PR pension funds on their own (except Selestia).
Dunstonh claims there are. Then let him tell us which firms he means. Why would he wish to keep such information secret?Trying to keep it simple...0 -

I dont have to list the providers. If you want to buy the research software and post the output then it is your choice.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -

The providers supply the data to the research companies and that data shows the numbers I have mentioned before.
Ah, I guess you don't know the names then. This area of pensions is very obscure and technical: one wonders if the "research companies" have understood the point.Trying to keep it simple...0 -
Indeed - Aequos subscriptions aren't cheap.one wonders if the "research companies" have understood the point.
The filter that sees you tick the "protected rights scheme" box on the drawdown products section does sort of give it away.

There is also another provider that does protected rights drawdown with no minimum and also allows unit trusts, shares and investment trusts inside of the insured pension wrapper. This provider is in addition to the number of companies mentioned above.
They have also confirmed (as I asked the question) that protected rights in drawdown can be transferred in or out with no problem.
Quick and dirty figures suggest that this provider could be cheaper than Selestia for very large holdings and comparable with HL for smaller ones.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). They accept protected rights and do not appear to have a minimum fund size.Trying to keep it simple...0
