Electronic bidet toilet seats

Time to replace my bidet shower. Saw one of the electronic bidet toilet seats in a building and construction shows at NEC. I was quite fascinated by them. Has any one used them, are they effective or just a gimmick? I will also appreciate if someone signpost to a good supplier of these.

Disappointed to see you've had no responses as I have the same question. A friend of mine has a Japanese wife and she says they are great. In this country they seem to be marketed mainly as a disability aid. Do a google search and several importers come up. Would be useful to have a 'Which' best buy report, but no such luck. Apparently Toto is the favourite make in Japan but it doesn't come up on an internet search, unless it's re-labelled for the UK.
Anyway, I'm going to risk splashing out (ha ha) £500 as it looks like a good idea to me.0 -
