sliced frozen mushrooms????

not seen any of these for months and went a proper hunt today,sains,asda,iceland and huge tesco,all out of stock.Asda was the only one to still have a sticker up and the assistant helpfully went out the back to check but no luck.I'm puzzled.......

    thanks for that,unfortunately there's no Farmfoods near me(no way I'm trundling off to Bristol 20 miles away just for mushrooms lol).Looks like I'll just have to watch and wait:(

    They have them in "Heron frozen food" quite cheaply too.
    Why do you need frozen rather than fresh? If you just want to stock up the freezer you could freeze some yourself perhaps?

    I prefer the flavour of frozen ones in certain things(like a chestnut pie I make for my veggie son),tried it with fresh but not the same.I've also sliced and frozen down the fresh ones but they must put something extra in the commercial ones cos it's a more intense taste to me.Will go and check out Heron,thank you:)

    I'm sure I've seen them in Aldi, Waitrose use to have them but the freezer shops seem a lot cheaper.

    Found them in Aldis some time ago - can't remember how much they were but I'm sure they were cheapish.

    thanks,will take a trip over to aldis then.Never had trouble finding them before in the other supermarkets,they just seem to have vanished and you know what it's like when you can't get your hands on something,you want it even more lol

    Asda have frozen sliced mushrooms, onions, peppers and crushed garlic!

    Love buying frozen as cant be bothered to chop chop chop....
