Have just sorted ALL of our peperwork - this has taken all day, but here are my files :-
Car File - Includes log book, repairs receipts, sorns, paid parking fines
Personal Data File - Birth, Death, Marriage, Divorce, Passports, Driving License
School File - Reports, Letters, awards, paid lesson fees, after school activity info
Kids Activity File - Swimming, Tennis, Football
Medical File - Appointments for hospital, dentist, opticians, doctors, letters etc
Personal Informal File - Letters, cards, poems, notes, postcards
Photos - obvious really!!
Bank Statements - Past and present including all correspondance re: debts
Credit Cards and Loan Statements - Past and present
All other bills - Utility etc including debt correspondance
National Debtline & CCCS - All reference sheets, letters including financial breakdown and written overview
Mortgage Company and Solicitors letters - All statements, letters and breakdowns
Council Housing/Shelter file - All correspondance past and present
Hopefully this might help someone else to know where to start wityh the piling up paperwork!!

Ahhhhh....Im not saying I can make any sense of it all WDIAG!
The one thing I have not got is receipts for all of our spending!!! Thats pushing it a step too far! ;-)0 -
aw well done.
I just attempted the same thing and guess what happened.
half of it got stuffed into the back of the drawer for another rainy day and the rest got stuffed into one file so its all over the place.
