make and sell

Hi all, just wondered if anyone does the same really. I get bored of an evening after work and was thinking about making things with a view to sell but don't really know what to make

does anyone do this? i'd really like to do something with wood, perhaps small wooden display toys or something like that - this would really just be a hobby and something to do instead of watching TV but always handy to make some extra cash :beer:

Hi, this is my first ever reply/post on here so I hope it's useful.
I started making jewellery with some craft/art materials i had acquired over the years while bored and was told I should sell it. I tried a website called Folksy and although I didn't sell much, I thought the site was great, simple to use, fees similar to Ebay but when items are added to your shop it's for much longer than Ebay , so fair.
The site has changed and I really didn't put enough effort into adding extra items and truthfully lost interest as I got full time work.
I am however considering re-starting selling my jewellery and additional craft items and will be going back to Folksy.
