ex has called csa. she wanted more money, i paid her £42 a week due to my wage, csa did a wage review and now im paying her £41 a week.:rotfl:
they worked out my wage at 281 but with shift allowance its 290 but this is not always gauranteed. so i think the figure should be £42.
if they ask for wage slips will they backdate this amount?
can they backdate if i do overtime also? but confused about this.
eg say if i earn 17k which is £42 a week, if i earn 19k through overtime could they backdate all this?obviously the claim date is only 1st june but just thinking ahead.
i will be paying by direct debit at the start of each month.
any advice or opinions?
oh and she still wont let me see my child but thats another story, not that the csa give a !!!!!!.

Sadly paying maintenance will not grant you access... That's solely down to the ex (unless you go legal on her)...

No the CSA work from the date a reassessemnt is requested which can be as often as every 3 months...
But very rare they will backdate unless you gave them the wrong info...
The 15% is an average... Normally of the last 3 months, so if you do lots of overtime, and earn more and the get a reassessment you will pay more, but same goes the other way as well, you ask for a reassessment after 3 months of not doing it and it goes down...
If they say the wage requires payment of £41 then it will be over the average...
What you need to remember is that you can choose to pay anything over this amount, but it is your choice, you don't have to go through the CSA to pay extra...
Will you be paying her or the CSA by DD, i know it is not so different but it will not be 4 x £41 they take as there is slightly more than 4 weeks in a month, so remember that, as some don't, and then worry why it is more...
As for seeing the child, all you can do is start the normal proceedings for access... Good luck with that, although it is much easier to do now than a few years ago...0
