Lloyds have been a pain in the !!!! lately. They've never acknowledged a single letter of mine either. The only way I've had any success is to call CCCS myself and get them to lean on Lloyds, even then Lloyds dig their heels in. Do not hold your breath, Lloyds are stubborn and will stick to their guns.

Good luck and sorry I'm not the bearer of good news!

Send them an income/expenditure plan via recorded delivery or with proof of postage and inform them of the amount of money they would be getting under the DMP, enclose a cheque monthly or set up a standing order for whatever amount it is you can spare and make sure you stick to these like glue.

They don't like going to court as it is too expensive and would not have a leg to stand on as long as you have the proof to show that you have been making regular repayment regardless of what the repayment amount is. (keep all your paperwork for future references)

I've been having problems with LLoyds TSB too.... been on a DMP since January this year... they are still calling me 3-4 times a day even now.. I've spoken to their reps a couple of times, but it's pointless as they just call you again the next day. I've also responded to every single letter they have sent me. Got in touch with Payplan - they say that Lloyds don't have many people dealing direct with them, so it takes a long time for the message to filter through to the call centres. They told me to just grin and bear it.... two days after that I got a solicitors letter (which scared the crap out of me) so contacted my payplan rep again, who said they would call Lloyds.... feel like the condemned woman waiting on death row right now.....

After all I have been through (with ex-husband and reasons why I'm in such a mess) I really thought there was light at the end of the tunnel. All the other creditors have been great - they've accepted that I really am trying my best and will pay them back their money eventually. Just Lloyds are harassing me and making me feel like I don't want to live if it's going to be like this. I'm scared and don't know what to do.

I know this doesn't really help, but I guess it's at least good to know that their standard approach seems to be to apply pressure until someone breaks...

  • Thanks furrypaw,

I know exactly how you feel, they seem to not listen to anyone. We have constantly been touch through post and phone calls.
There has been many a day since being on DMP you wish they would be more understanding like our other creditors, but no they are not.

Hoping they will get the hint soon,it's not as if i'm running away from the debt I'M NOT.

Glad to know i'm not alone with the lloyds situation.
