Quick question please!

Hi, sorry to ask a rather simple question but I use this website as my first source of guidance when it comes to money matters but can't seem to find the answer to what will be a simple question I'm sure!
I took a 25 year mortgage out in 2008 on a 5yr fixed rate. This is coming to an end at the end of July and of course, I can now seek a new deal. When it comes to the pdf guides that you offer, I don't seem to fit in to either the first time mortgage nor the remortage, and this is true when I'm looking on bank websites for offers. What am I classed as??
Thank you to anyone who can point me in the right direction and apologies for the simple question!

Firstly ring your existing lender and see what they'll offer you.
Then take it forward from there.0 -
Thank you for reply. I will contact my existing lender, was trying to do some background first so I could be a bit prepared but don't seem to fit in an easy category for the guides on this website.0

Which lender are you with? What rate will you go on to at the end of the fixed rate?
If you are moving lenders you are remortgaging. If staying where you are you are changing products.
If you are not sure on it all consider a broker.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
