Free £15 giftcard for Asda, M&S or Next when you visit Carcraft

Hi guys,

If you get an online car quote for a part-ex valuation from Carcraft, you immediately get a coupon which entitles you to a free £15 gift card to use at M&S, Asda or (I think it was Next but if someone can advise I will update this post as necessary).

After entering your reg on the part ex-valuation box on their main page (third green box) and then entering your details, a pop-up appears with the coupon to print and you are also emailed a copy. You then need to take this printed voucher to a local Carcraft store to redeem.

I chose the £15 M&S one, and took it to my local branch who took the voucher and advised that the giftcard would be posted to me.

Admittedly this one could be a be of a hassle depending on your branch - I just told the sales rep that I had valued my car online to see how much I'd get, and seeing as it wasn't as much as I'd hoped I was not looking for a new car at present - and just wanted to redeem the free voucher. He was ok with this and thanked me for coming.

Hopefully it's just as easy for everyone else! :beer:

The T&C below are copied from my voucher, the expiry date changes depending on the date you apply (it won't be the 2nd Jun as I applied a few days back):

What are Gift Cards? Gift Cards are the new gift vouchers. They’re credit card sized and you pre-load them with money to spend at M&S. They make the perfect gift as they allow the recipient to choose their own present. How much money can I put on a Gift Card? Gift Cards can be purchased with a minimum balance of £1 or €1 in stores and £10 online. They have a maximum limit of £500 or €700. Cards can be topped up in stores to the maximum value limit. What can I buy with my Gift Card? Gift Cards can be used for most purchases. Gift Cards cannot be used to pay for M&S Money Services, M&S Money Products, M&S Energy or outstanding M&S credit card, and &More Charge card balances. They are not accepted for Made to Measure Shirts or large appliances. Where do I find my Gift Card PIN? Your PIN is a 5 digit number which is found on the back of the card under a scratch-off panel. Can I use a Gift Card purchased in another country in UK stores? Gift cards purchased in Eire and the Channel Islands can be used online and in UK stores. Where necessary, our systems will convert Euro Gift Card balances to Sterling using a regularly updated exchange rate. How will I know how much money is on Gift Cards I receive? A record of the amount added will be given with the card. In stores, it’s printed on a special receipt, inserted in the presentation card that comes with the Gift Card. For online orders, the amount is printed inside the presentation card, behind the Gift Card. How can I check my Gift Card balance? Your Gift Card balance can be viewed on the website under check balance in My Account. I got an email a few days after visiting Carcraft to confirm my voucher would be posted, and then the giftcard arrived in the post a few days later :j

Seems like a lot of hassle just to get a voucher,it would cost me more in fuel to go to there.

Fair enough, I realise its not a great deal for everyone, but for those of us that live within walking distance of a Carcraft store like me, it's a fantastic offer

Took my voucher to local branch today who said it would be posted in a few days. Went for Asda voucher. No problems. Thanks OP.

All I got was a few annoying calls from car craft.
Any tips from the successful people why it worked?

Have you got a popup blocker software or whatever it's called to prevent them? As the voucher comes on a new screen.
