Hi, I hope you went to work feeling a little better than you have been.
Right, I definatly think the £500 loan is the starting place. Phone Halifax and see what they can offer you interest wise and if you can get a better offer if you do transfer any of the other cards to the existing one.
Obviously I feel that the lowest interest ones are the least important at the moment.
Also when your phoning Virgin media tell them you are thinking of getting a freeview box, but your friend recommended for you to call them first as they are really happy with their service.
Halifax was also my "thorn in my side" and it might work in your favour as they seem to be the quickest to UP the limit all the time. as you can see from my signature it was over £11k
The other thing I recommend is that you budget and do food shopping weekly instead of monthly or whenever. We now meal plan and it costs us so much less when you just get what is NEEDED instead of just looking and getting the "offers" as i usually spend so much more then.
Keep me updated and I will still keep trying to see how to reduse things further.
have you tried Uswitch for your gas and electric, might be able to save a few pounds a month there too.0 -

Still stay on the positive and think that the loan will be gone in 5 months anyway and will still give you £120 extra a month to throw at the rest of it0
