Does anyone have any experience of using Activated Charcoal or a charcoal-based toothpaste for brushing their teeth? If so, what were the results like? Is it safe to do?

A fad that has been imported from Korea, it has no fluoride in it so rampant decay here you come, is black in colour , tastes vile and doesn't leave teeth feeling clean. Other than that it's brilliant.0

Can't you mix the an Activated Charcoal with your regular toothpaste to help with whitening?0

It is very abrasive. It will not whiten but remove stain by rubbing away stain. Unfortunately what rubs stains away also rubs enamel away just as easily. Tooth brushing and flossing with an ordinary toothpaste with an occaisional visit to the hygienist , if necessary, should keep stain at bay.0

Thanks for the info. I think I'll be steering clear of that then.0
