we spent 2 hours in the nationwide today applying for a new mortgage, got told in principle how much we could borrow. we picked the fixed rate etc to be told we have to go back next week to go over it all again & apply fully next week.
i don't understand why he couldn't have done it today?
we asked for upto £120k & got told we could have £117 which is fine. Now note sure if it's 100% yes or 50/50???

Hopefully you'll be successful!
How much deposit are you putting down? and what are your salaries if you don't mind me asking?!0 -
You haven't done the full app so no it's not 100% yes. One step at a time. If you've got a yes with a DIP then that's a step in the right direction. An opinion is just that..... An opinion0
