Hey
I really want one of the white/cream/ivory Royal Mail style postboxes - but can't find any in North Yorkshire. Does anyone have any ideas for where to get one?
Thanks

Type in wedding box on ebay. Ours was £3.99 aand we then added ribbon and typed up the front.
I'm on my fone so can't link to ebay but will at work.
On my 'wedding for 3k' thread there's a photo.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
Today I've made our postbox. I ordered the box off Ebay (I think) and have printed off the front and mounted on card then added some red ribbon.
This is from the tread - is this the type? If so Ebay will help loads. Or do you mean the actual post boxes - again I've seen them on ebay but hire is around £60 a night - look fab thoForty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
If you want the 'proper' one rather than the cardboard one then I think you'll have to look at venue decorators to hire one. We are having one through ambience venue styling which is a franchise type thing so tere should be someone local to you. Just try googling it.0

We bought ours from Hobbycraft. It was a plain ivory post box, cost about £4 I think and then we bought some purple ribbon and made it look pretty! Lots of people commented on it, and it was so cheap and easy to do!
One thing I would say which someone said to me before our wedding, make sure it has a big enough slit for the cards! Else you could end up with hardly any fitting through.Married my wonderful husband on 8/9/12 :j0 -

We made ours out of a photocopy paper box. Covered it with pillar box red paper and then made a hole for the "letters" to be posted through and then I went online and copied the layout of what is written on a proper postbox. It looked fab and everyone loved it.
Cheap and cheerful, we have kept all the wedding cards inside it ever since. We had to cut it open but as we had asked for dollars and vouchers it was nice knowing nobody could open it on the day and our Best Man put it in our room during the evening party.0 -
If you check out facebook for wedding groups in Yorkshire there are quite a few venue dressing places that hire these out. One is Bridebay I think or might be Bride Bay and they have a cream one that looks like a vintage post box in cream.0
