There does seem to be quite a gap developing between the "valuation instructed" message about ten seconds after hitting the submit button and notification of the actual valuation appointment.
I was putting that down to Colleys workload, but Dave might be right.I am a mortgage broker. Mine is currently sitting at valuation instructed but no appointment has been made, with the posts i'm assuming that it has not been looked at yet and the app was put in 1 week ago, still a long way to go i guess!!!0

1 week is longer than the norm, suggest your broker chases Colleys which we can do and try and get an opinion.
Surveyors up and down the country seem to be under intense pressure at the moment, had some in South London trying to book in anywhere upto 4 weeks away..I am a Mortgage Broker

Chasing Colleys is still based upon the assumption this is a Halifax case, but you are hanging us out on this one...I am a Mortgage Broker

The fact you have multiple users to ask about the same topic, is frustrating at best and suspicious at worst.
If the valuation is instructed then typically this is ok now and will not change, unless the case is audited or within their credit decisioning team and only your broker can confirm this.
The fact you have worried so much to set up an alias account to ask the same questions, make me more nervous that there is something to find and find it they will.
I hope I am wrong and you forgot password and then remembered, or something similar.
Or you happen to know the OP and answered for them.
Or you just wanted to make me feel better that my punt on Halifax was correct.I am a Mortgage Broker

Or the most credible is that as a potential Tottenham fan, you thought you may be better off losing the Tottenham reference in your username (good call)I am a Mortgage Broker
