This was ok when i joined la fitness thru the zest offer which was also on the gym website. I got a free month, cancelled thru the email and no probs.

Great way of trying a gym and a good freebie :)

Unfortunately my nearest gym is 15 miles away, so not much good for me.

I know nothing about beautyguild.com, etc, but......

Before I signed up with my current gym I did make use of any and all trial sessions that all my local gyms had on offer. A 15 minutes tour with a salesman/woman does not give you much constructive feedback on which to base what can be an expensive decision.

I took advantage of several gyms having free or dirt cheap ( eg £5 for 10 days) memberships. This is a good way to find out how busy they are when YOU want to go, whether the showers ever do have hot water, does the sauna ever actually get unlocked etc. More especially is it a gym with a welcoming atmosphere and helpful staff ?

Even the one day free visit of facilities can give a false impression. Just my opinion/experience.

I never had trouble NOT joining any of the gyms I did a try out of. They are offering these trials to try and get new members to join. Equally they know there is lots of competition.;)

mascherano obviously doesn't know what the heck they are on about.

these are genuine valid offers if you cancel in time. does mean you don't get the full month, but still three weeks is well worth it. i had a great 3 weeks at the local LA fitness. More to note, the cancellation process is incredibly easy.

mascherano i wouldnt post anythink i thought was spam - im sorry you thought that - it wasa genuine offer sent to me by a company i use. however if moderators think otherwise they can remove it. i cant use it either as the gyms listed are too far away - they generally seem to be the LA fitness gyms which are not that wide spread. - as i said if its of some use to someone then that is great.

Why has this been moved to shop but don't drop - surely this is a quick grabit?

I'm confused - the offer ends (ie end of month of free trial is 17th June thereby making it grabbit on my understanding) who moved it and why?

    Please elaborate.

I've used it and am greatful to BASIL. Thanks again.
