Skipton - Application Process Length Query

Hi all,

Just a quick query for mortgage brokers who have recent experience with wait times to hear back from Skipton for mortgage applications.

Our broker was a little coy on the time Skipton take to say yay or nay.

It might sound a little impatient but with 4 weeks before we go on holiday I am keen to have something sorted before we go so I can relax.

Any ideas on their current queues?

Not necessarily 4 weeks, but will depend upon your case and the details.

They can be quicker, they can be longer.

Typically they will agree or decline upfront in essence and then just subject to the detail..

I submitted an application last week and we've been told 6-7 working days before the docs I uploaded at the same time will be looked at. You can have the valuer instructed beforehand, if you don't mind risking the fee, if later there's a problem with the supporting docs.

Thanks. Our application went in at the end of the week before last so given there was a bank holiday in that time to slow things down a bit we might be getting nearer now. Fingers crossed.
