You took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you so very much Jarvisma. I am looking forward to drafting my next response VERY much. Is there a way I can nominate you for 'MSER of the month' or something???

first of all i do aopologise from friend who has opened this thread,
please anyone out there to give me some ideas,I am in need help very much,
the matter is quite long but I will explain as short as possible,
after I worked 5 and half years for TESCO,at 30/12/2006 I have taken volunteer redundancy, all paper works has been done, everything has been confirmed and I have received payment with 2 weeks delay,
4 months later,I have received letter from TESCO,saying they have paid over about £2000,(debt collector says it is now £2423.50???)
during this 4 months time,I had no job to work and paid off some of my debts, simply I have used money,
I am now working as a part time, and earn 14 hours wages, meanwhile I am seeking some other full time job
I did not refuse what TESCO asked for because I know if they can prove that they overpaid then they will get money from me sooner or later,
I have made a budget how to pay any outstanding overpayment, they did not accept and pass the issue to debt collector company, since then I am in nightmare,I offer them £12 each week, they ask me to pay £40,plus they threading me with bankruptcy,if I do not pay what they are asking for they will make me bankrupt,
I have received lots of phone calls from them, finally I have written to TESCO and debt collector company saying if they carry on this way I will make an official complain towards them, suddenly it has stopped,3 times phone call each day gone down to nil,
now I receive e-mails and letters keep asking me what they are after and threating me with bankruptcy heres a sample from their e-mail
"Whist we do not fully understand the content of your letter, we are unable to assist you if you fail to settle this debt. You should seek legal advice as a Bankruptcy Petition is now imminent.
Regards"
I did make an arrangement to supply £48 each month and write out some checks to this company towards what I owe, from next week and every 4 weeks
I have contacted with cccs people, they are very polite and helpful, they are listing me with patient and give me advises on the subject, with my budget I pay back £12 each week but with cccs people I only can pay £17 each month, that means I try to pay earlier my debts than I am advised,
still I can not make happy that debt collector company and they ask me to pay £40 each week (£160 month) thearting with bankruptcy
please, send me your ideas what I should and could do,I tried to cut very short and avoid details,
any part is not understood please tell me to provide more information,0 -
Oh God I am still here...
Sent a letter off over 3 weeks ago with Jarvisma's advice cut and pasted in place (minus insults!!) and I get a letter back today stating that they are 'looking into' my claims with HMSO and will get back to me. My husband reckons this is great, as it further delays any money coming out of our bank account, but I am one of these people who worries over something until it is settled. Gggrrrr. Even the standing order form I have been sent to set up is plastered in tippex (how professional).
Anyhow, I am off on holiday for 2 weeks tomorrow, so I shall put it out of my mind until I get home.

Just read your post -
You may also find that you are owed some pay in respect of outstanding holidays. Eg if your holiday entitlement was 21 days for the year..and you worked for 4 months you would be entitled to 7 days holiday (or pay for those days). This assumes that you had not already used your holiday entitlement! (eg if you had taken 10 days holiday....you owe them 3 days!)I am NOT a Woman! - its Overland Landy (as in A Landrover that travels Overland)
