Hi,
im trying to find a new larder fridge that will fit under the worktop - the problem is that the space is only a maximum of 51cm (the one there is only 49cm!)
ive looked at a number of comparison sites and can only find one made by bosch (KTR14N10), and two made by fridgemaster (MTRR 110 & MTRL 130)
has anybody got any thoughts about these or can suggest any others?
I am also trying to find a new freezer that will work outside in the garage - apparantly 'this is not something new freezers do' ...
Again i would be grateful for any suggestions or any thoughts.
Thanks

HI,
Would just like to say that Iceland stores used to do electricals and it might be worthwhile popping in.
I know they used to do the thin design freezers and fridges, larder design as well.
The outside freezer, it would be wiser to get a chest design and not an upright. The design you want is the one without the metal grill/tube at the back of the freezers, not too sure with uprights but know that chests apply althought you will need to look yourself.
Another tip is to place the item on a wood bench, the outside freezer that is, or similar and not on concrete also to the warmest wall of the garage.
hope this helps
David
UPDATE: Just been onto the iceland website and they have a whirpool larder fridge, 458mm width, 616 depth.0 -

never heard that one before....we have 2 fridge/freezers and a chest freezer in the garage....all work fine, though only the chest freezer has food in it.Stevie Coppell's record breaking blue and white royal army - championship winners 2005-60 -
Hi
Just thought I would mention that my aunt had a similar problem looking for a small fridge to fit into a confined space. She eventually got one from a caravan supplier. May be worth a look.0 -
Hi!
My mum had the same problem just before christmas. I tracked down the Whirlpool ARC0140 which she is more than happy with. I ordered it from Co-op electrical who were the cheapest place I trusted. They were really helpful about delivery times and if you go via quidco you can get a few % cash back.
I had reason to phone up about this order after I placed it and was talking to the bloke about this fridge. He says they sell loads of them purely because of it's size.
I hope that helps.
