Iron and ironing board

Ironing hasn't really be done in our house for, well, my lifetime 
However, some of my clothes could do with a quick iron, I have a nice dress that the under skirt crinkles and needs it. So I need an iron.
But I have absolutely no idea on what I'm looking for or need! Budget is low, basically the cheaper the better. Going to really just be a few clothes, maybe pillowcases and bits, so cotton, polyester and poly-cotton I guess.
Shocked at how much the boards cost and wondering if something stupidly basic like http://www.argos.co.uk/m/static/Product/partNumber/8500296/Trail/searchtext%3EIRONING+BOARD.htm would actually do?
Likewise for an iron something like http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002GHBUMC ?
Ideally under £20 on each but I have no idea if that's realistic or not! Any help gratefully received
