I would not have a one to one with this manager unless you have a witness you can trust. In fact don't talk to him.
He could report you to HR for saying ??? even if you did not say ???

To cover yourself and your future you could consider raising a grievance with your line managers superior. Not to start an investigation or to get anybody in trouble but just so as your fears are documented in writing and filed.
I suspect that you are now on a final formal written warning. Thread carefully and you need to be seen to be squeaky clean in everything until the clock resets. This humble pie is going to take a long time to eat & digest.0
