Hi, haven t posted before so hope this is the right place! But wanted to share this unbelievable price I picked up today.
The meals are in the frozen deals on the edge/end of isles. they are normally £2 with a general £1 for that freezer, but on closer inspection the label actually says 25p:eek: got the man to check it and yes it is 25p at the till. Don t be put off by the £1- as I saw another freezer showing this but the are barcoded for 25p and the till brings up 25p with no raised eyebrows even when I queried it:T
The meals are ' spicy lamb Kota meatballs with couscous'. &
'sun-dried tomato & pancetta torchetti (pasta). They are the chosen by you range, and a decent size, with 400/500 calories.
Hope this is nationwide, & the dates are ok up to nov2013. the guy said they have a load of them that they don t usually sell well- not anymore. :T.

It is a good price for the supermarket's own premium range. I don't suppose there were any vegetarian dishes? I don't usually eat ready meals, but at that price it's worth slinging a couple in the freezer.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

My local Asda had its last few Sun-dried tomato & pancetta torchetti in an end of aisle freezer the other month priced at 50p.
They also had a chili with coriander rice at the same price. The pasta was a lot more tasty than I expected, the chili, was pretty rubbish unfortunately though.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
