Marks & Spencer friends & family discounts

When I was in Marks over the bank holiday weekend there were at least 3 people queuing at the till who had lots of 20% off vouchers including some they could give way to friends and family. Luckily the girl in front gave me one.
I buy quite regularly in Marks but have never been sent these. When I mentioned it at work a couple of the girls said they get it and one of them hardly buys anything there.
Does anyone know what the criteria is for getting on the list or who to phone about it?

You get sent them if you have an M&S credit card. Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama0

If only! My M&S credit card is the one I use all the time and I have had it since they offered them. All I get sent are points offers and the occasional %age off.
I have never received friends and family.0 -
They were originally just given to staff of m&s and then they handed them out to their friends and family, now I think it goes to some Premium club card holders as well.0

Yes, it's definitely premium club members - I have the credit card & premium membership and they send these vouchers out a few times each year.Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

Premium Club Members, Employees and also Shareholders get their own special ones, I believe.
Also, M&S current account customers get 20% off for a whole year on clothing and homeware. And lots of drinks vouchers, etc. Costs £10-20 a month though, depending on a variety of circumstances.0 -
You need to have the Premium Club either with the credit card or current account. It costs me £15 per month and I get lots of vouchers including a batch of friends and family ones every so often.0
