Sainsburys Nectar points on petrol vs Tesco Clubcard points

Hi all,

Am I correct in thinking that buying fuel at a Sainsburys petrol station (using your Nectar card) does not earn you as many points as buying petrol from Tesco petrol station using your Clubcard?

As far as I can tell:

At Sainsburys:
1 Nectar point per £1 LITRE spend
(I understand 2 Nectar points = 1 pence)
So if I fill up my tank at Sainsburys with £50 of petrol, I get 38 litres (which is 38 Nectars point = 19 pence). Is that correct?

At Tesco:
1 Clubcard point per £2 MONEY spend
So if I fill up my tank at Tesco with £50 of petrol and hand over my Clubcard, I get 25 points (= 25 pence).
(i.e. 6 pence better off than at Sainsburys).

OR if I use my Tesco Credit Card (which acts as a Clubcard and offers 1 Clubcard point per £1 spend) at the petrol station and spend £50 of petrol, I get 50 points (= 50 pence).
(i.e. 31 pence better off than at Sainburys).

Can anyone clarify?
