if i goto an independant mortage advisor and wanted to get some advice and wanted to know which would be the cheapest mortage i could get, would i have to pay a fee?

If you go to an adviser that is fee based, it will cost you a fee. If you go to a fees free adviser, it will not.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). You wouldn't necessarily get the same recemmendation if you went to 2 fee based advisers, or 2 fee free advisers, as it depends on how they interpret the scenario
