Fixed Term Contract & Continuous Employment

Hi,
Just a quick question I was hoping someone could help me with.
My employment history at a company is this:
1 year FTC internship
1 year FTC maternity cover
The maternity cover has now ended and luckily I have found another role within the company (different department) that is also 1 year FTC (ending May 2014), but the contract states that my continuous employment is from April 2011.
Does this mean at the end of it - as I have continuous service over 2 years - that I will be due redundancy pay should it not be renewed?
Many thanks for all responses!

If they say your continuous employment is from May 2011, you already have two years under your belt, so I think you would be due redundancy ...moombamike wrote: »Does this mean at the end of it - as I have continuous service over 2 years - that I will be due redundancy pay should it not be renewed?Signature removed for peace of mind0
