Had a rare sunny Cumbrian day so took our DD to 'trotters animal park' so with the exception of a cuddly hippopotamus there are no ins to declare.

7.5ml sample of Benefit porefessional - WMBA this was a magazine freebie and lasted ages I liked it but prefer the clarins primer.

Lush enchanter bath bomb - made the bath bright orange WBA but I dont think they are available any more.

Two UUs to start the month off well, and a few splutterers in pipeline.
UU 1. Avon Naturals Black Cherry & Nutmeg Shower Cream. 200 ml

WIBA? This wasn't quite as nice as I thought it would be, though still very pleasant and a bargain price. I thought it would be a Christmassy smell, but it isn't particularly and is in the brochure at the moment, though I don't need any shower stuff. Good job I didn't really rave over it!

More fruit than spice, but a definite cherry smell that goes nicely with the Cherry Blossom body whip Avon do.

The tall Naturals bottles are a bit of a pain to stand upside down to get all out, though it is possible to stand one on its lid, just.

Also UU, one of the Sure concentrated aerosols. This definitely lasted nowhere near as long as a roll on, probably as long as a big aerosol, but as I cannot recall buying one since I was in my twenties, heaven knows! It's a 48 hour product that did seem to do the job.
Am*zon had sent me one of the new-ish antipersp creams to trial so that's being UU'ed next, another 48 hour job.

My Avon order came and the only thing that's for me and an IN is 100 ml of Marine Foot Soak. Quite a small bottle for the money, even on SO, so I hope it's efficient.

The instructions say four caps per basin, which probably works out at around 10 - 15 ml. I may experiment with a clean ink syringe to find out how much I'll be using.

I do hope it's good, otherwise I may regret not just shoving a handful of salt in with the usual bubble bath that I soak my feet in.

2. Aveda Smooth Infusions conditioner, 40ml. WNBA, too expensive compared to others which perform just as well. It didn't do a great job of detangling and it left my (rather fine) hair looking quite flat - so actually probably just a case of it doing the job a bit too well, and would no doubt work great for someone with thicker hair than me. :rotfl:

Champneys Thai Royale Body Cream - This has been in the stash since Sainsburys stopped selling Champneys and I bought a few of these for £2. I don't think Champneys do this variation anymore but I WBA as it is gorgeous. I still have the bubble bath, shower gel, a large pot of body cream and a scrub on the go so will enjoy using those.

After saying I wasn't expecting any ins I will have ins later in the week but I will declare them now. I hope this will be about it as I am overflowing with stuff.

All 3 are 500ml and C&E were doing 3 for 2 and £5 off each item. The shampoo and conditioner are my HG and a good buy on this offer. The body lotion was to make up the third item and I already have the matching shower gel in the stash so made sense to me.

PK Elasticizer - 1000ml This is QVC pick of the month and works out vastly cheaper than the small pots. I have a small pot but have been spinning it out by using other things but this really works for my hair so I will be able to use once a week. I reckon this bottle will last a couple of years.

Our town had a 1940's weekend this weekend, it was really lovely, all the shops had the windows taped up and vintage items for sale, you could get your hair done in 1940's style too. The contrast between the way people dressed then and now is massive, they looked fabulous and now .....?

Nivea Moisturising Face Primer - Didn't like this to begin with but now I love it. Moisturising and smoothing, a good base for make up. WBA but will wait to get it on an offer

Nivea Dry and Sensitive Day Cream - Really like this stuff, a good replacement for my S&G day cream. WBA already have.

S&G Hand Soap - Great smelling hand soap but retails for £5! so have replaced it with a Cien handwash that cost 55p. WBA if it was a bargain.

Expecting a few more UU's soon Could do with buying an everyday body lotion though, using body butter all the time is annoying! Might buy a garnier one when they're next on offer.

Silly question - but what is this supposed to do? I got some of this to trial a while back and although it made my hair soft and less wayward I didnt feel the wow factor and wondered whether I was using it wrong and missing something.
