UU - E45 cream in a little tub that cost about £3! Since replaced with a big tub of Aqueous Cream from the 99p shop. I can't really tell the difference between the two!

UU- Hotel shampoo used to re-wash and refresh a load of laundry when it got left in the machine for a couple of days when I was ill and totally forgot about it - oops!

    Morning all

    Quickly reporting a UU:

91: TBS Sweet Lemon Shower Gel 250ml - WBA, smelt lovely. Still have lots of other shower gels to get through first though.

    Have a good day everyone

    Morning All,

A few UU from the last couple of days:

    1. Elemis Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm - WBA - already replaced this, love, love, love it - it genuinely seems to have an immediate brightening effect and I love the smell and consistency plus no balling when you apply foundation afterwards - lives up to all its claims, become an instant HG for me.

    2. Boots Extracts Mango Sugar Scrub - WNBA - positives are the smell and the scrubbiness but its really reminds me of S & G Flakeaway in terms of its consistency, leaves the tub a hazardous slipping zone and leaves my skin feeling very greasy, even when using shower gel or soap afterwards as impossible to get a lather going - takes a further shower to remove the residue.

    3. Lush Lust Soap - WMBA - Lovely fragrance and colour but very poor staying power, lasts a handful of showers before its gone.

    4. Simple Cleansing Wipes - WMBA - No strong opinion on these, very 'vanilla' really - I'm a true convert to 'proper' cleansing nowadays solely thanks to the challenge and using previously ignored products! I bought these for a weekend away thinking they'd be quicker/easier but they weren't in truth and I prefer the feeling a cream cleanser/hot cloth cleanser leaves on my skin. I don't tend to buy wipes any more, if I did though there's a few I prefer to these.

    1 UU for me today...

    No.7 Protect and Perfect Serum
WMBA - not overly sold on this product, it was a trial/travel size. I've got loads of serums in my stash so definitely won't need to buy for some time.

I hope things are better for you today rosemary and that you enjoy your ball this evening.

Happy birthday emsjune - some lovely goodies there.

No UU, this month has been very slow. Got a few splutterers though.

Just wondering if anyone has heard from tokkiandoliver or kadison recently? Haven't seen either of them on here for a while. Hope they are both ok...
I did pm tokki a while ago but have not had a reply,no idea about kadison tho.

ball was okay,a bit "flat" as not many people were there(used to be packed out)and as we arrived OH said...." thought you would have worn a slinky dress"......as it was summer had a long multi coloured cotton one and had thought I looked goods did not help the mood but a much better weekend than last(tho that is not hard)am still in the spare room(my choice)but did go and cuddle him with tea this morning.

Some OUTs from the past week...

10 - Nivea soft sample, lovely stuff, would buy
11/12 - L'Occitane volumizing shampoo and conditioner samples. Lovely, but lots of hair things in.
13 - L'Occitane divine cream sample, again, lovely but lots of night time moisturisers in.
14 - Lush happyface massage bar finished. Used this as body moisturiser then finished off the last bits as a bath melt. :)

I have however, had an alergic reaction to Avon sun cream. I'm red and bumpy and itchy...and covered in calamine lotion. So I don't think I'll be using up much stuff till this has calmed down. It's put me right off Avon!
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

That's a shame, I am an Avon Rep and one of my customers buys the sun cream specifically because she reacts to other brands, trial and error I suppose.
