Maximiles (Ipoints) help needed(merged)

I don't know if anyone has noticed but I was looking through the FAQs on the new Maximiles site and they are now paying 10 points/miles (whatever they're calling the things now) for clicking on promotional emails! So, some good news out of the site/name change, even if free points partners appear to have reduced dramatically (maybe these will increase over time?).

Regarding the 90 days, not sure where it said that - I checked the FAQs and it said points should be credited within 30 days but will take longer in rare cases, no time limit was specified for these (hopefully) "rare" cases. Further down the list it said to contact Customer Services if points have not been credited after 30 days but they will not handle enquiries before the 30 day period is up. I don't see any major change here apart from the mention of "rare" cases, but you can still query in any event after 30 days is up.

By the way, who thinks Maximiles is a stupid name? What was wrong with ipoints?

Yup, horrible name (just wait till we're no longer collecting 'points' and collecting 'miles' instead :doh:) and horrible site, so much harder to navigate around and actually FIND what you're looking for, especially to find the free points that you could easily see in a list down right hand side before.

Since they changed name I haven't received any email free points click throughs. Used to get around one a day for 5 points.

Just tried this for you by going: Entertainment, CDs from 101CD (3rd box to the right) and the search facility is at the top of the page.

Alternatively, you can just point your browser to Entertainment and the option to select CDs from 101 CD (again, it's the third one) should come up.

Simples!
