Just moved flat, one of these people who need a practically pitch black room and I hate eye masks. Any cheap ways of blacking out light? At the moment, its mainly coming through the top of the window, where there is a gap between curtain rail and top of window

The sun comes up on my bedroom window so I often wake up at 5am I do have a black out blind but hate using it as it makes my room so stuffy. So each year I cut a piece of black out lining to fit each window panel and use those stick on velcro dots. They last a season and the material is them kept for the next year.0
