It's only for one wedding at the end of the month, given its M&S I expect decent quality for the big afternoon out even at that price lol, not much of a saving as the extra stone has me out all my suits, more a £32 expense but at least minimal :)
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)

Thanks LM - ordered the cheapest suit - £31.50, on Saturday - arrived today! OH not really a suit person but he needed something to wear to an event and reckoned that he'd take a chance with this suit - as it would cost less than a sports jacket on its own - (which is what he intended to buy along with new trousers). We were afraid it was going to be shiny and cheap looking and were laughing about it and discussing returns before we even ordered. However, it actually looks really good and OH says that it looks much more expensive than it is and noone would guess that it was actually 40p (he tends to exaggerate - thus the 40p price tag). It's a really good fit and, even if he never wears the jacket again, he'll get good use of the trousers - well impressed. Used the 10% code also, which essentially made delivery free. Thank you again - you've saved us quite a bit of money - now, does anyone know where to get a pair of men's black leather shoes for around a fiver? Lol
  • I am having difficulty adding both the jacket and trousers in my basket. I am able to add the jacket but when I try to add the trousers it won't let me. Any ideas?
Hopeless by name, hopeless by nature.

    Hi hwm,
Not sure but I've had a look and it might be that the trousers are out of stock - it says beside the sizes how many are in stock - if there's no number beside them, that size might be out of stock.:o

Great to know its a good looking suit, I'll see soon enough :)

Try the TK Maxx clearance shelves, I've got some great £80-£150 designer shoes there for £6-£15 before, he might just need to wear some winter very THICK wool socks to beef his feet up a size LOL well that's what I do buying winter shoes a size larger anyway (as I know that they become full time footwear in british winter).

You got to look smart but stay cosy suited n booted ( expensive thermals too - bought in advance when warmer days come - REDUCED TO CLEAR) ;)

No point looking HOT and being freezing cold, might be good for fertility but it aint good for the body or soul :rotfl:

Just picked up a tuxedo jacket £13.99 (size 36L) and trousers £8.99 (30 waist 33 length) less 10% boundary mill discount from the M&S outlet at Boundary Mill, Colne, Burnley to fit my super skinny tall son for his school prom. Works out cheaper than hiring . Hope its of any use to anyone else in the same position.
  • You can't beat M&S suites. I've had one for years and machine washable too.

They do have a sale on all suits online at the moment, not as cheap as your find though Jayne1968 :)
